French Green Clay
French green clay is widely considered to be one of the most active and highly absorbent clays available. Natural, rich in minerals, and possessing strong adsorbent properties, it features a fine texture and exceptional purifying qualities that deep-cleanse the skin by drawing out impurities. Renowned for its intense balancing and detoxifying action, French green clay helps regulate sebum production and clarifies the complexion. Its natural remineralizing properties help tone the skin, making it highly ideal for oily, combination, or acne-prone skin types.
Its smooth, fine texture blends effortlessly with water or other ingredients to create a creamy paste for masks or body scrubs. It is also a versatile ingredient widely used in various personal care products, such as handcrafted soaps and lotions.
Beyond skincare, French green clay offers great benefits for hair and scalp health by purifying the roots and removing excess oil without stripping the hair fibers. It cleanses the scalp, promoting long-lasting freshness and leaving hair feeling light and weightless. Perfect for blemish-prone or oily complexions, French green clay encourages a clean, matte finish. Use it in your facial masks, soaps, or body treatments for a luxurious, spa-like experience at home. Balance your skin with the power of our French green clay—a naturally potent ingredient celebrated for its deep purifying and absorbing benefits.

The clay must be thoroughly blended with water before being added to cold or hot process soap batches.
This additional water helps evenly disperse the clay into the soap batter and effectively prevents the clay from causing your finished soap bars to crack.
More or less clay can be added to your bases to achieve your desired color shade.
This clay comes as a pale green powder and will impart a beautiful green hue to your soaps, depending on the natural color of your base oils. It can be used at a rate of 5% to 100% in various skincare formulations.
