Bath Bombs:
Add 0.5g of Moroccan Red Clay per 454g of your bath bomb mixture.

Soaps:
Clay mixture for Melt and Pour soap bases per 454g of soap base:
1.5g Moroccan Red Clay
15ml isopropyl alcohol 99%
Clay mixture for Cold Process and Hot Process soaps per 454g of soap base:
3g Moroccan Red Clay
30ml distilled water

As a Facial Mask:
Place the clay in a non-metallic bowl, add warm water, and stir until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency. Apply to your skin and leave on for 5 to 20 minutes (do not allow the mask to dry out completely). Rinse thoroughly and gently pat dry.

As a Hair Mask:
Mix 1 cup of Moroccan Red Clay with ½ cup of liquid (water, aloe vera juice, etc.) and a hydrating oil, such as coconut oil. Blend into a smooth paste and apply to damp hair, working from the roots to the ends. Let it sit for 20 to 40 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

The clay must be thoroughly blended with water before being added to cold or hot process soap batches.
This additional water helps evenly disperse the clay into the soap batter and effectively prevents the clay from causing your finished soap bars to crack.
More or less clay can be added to your bases to achieve your desired color shade.
This clay comes as a fine, reddish powder and will impart a beautiful, warm earthy hue to your soaps, depending on the natural color of your base oils. It can be used at a rate of 5% to 100% in various skincare formulations.
