It is called the Serbian blue clay of the Cambrian. Named therefore because it was formed in Siberian lakes during the Cambrian period, during the Paleozoic era (542-488 million years ago) Which makes it one of the oldest cosmetic clays and the rarest in the world. Its unique blue color comes from minerals and algae found in Siberian lakes.

This clay is known to be a natural exfoliant, filled with minerals with great healing properties, this clay is also known for its properties to cleanse, balance, illuminate the skin and also fade wrinkles and fine lines. Quite cleansing, but is considered relatively mild.

Thanks to its anti-inflammatory, soothing and antibacterial properties, it can be used as a mask or scrub to relieve acne, eczema, psoriasis and certain other skin conditions.

Utilisation:

Clay per 454g of bath bomb mix:
0.5g Cambrian Blue Clay

Melt and pour soap clay mix per 454g of soap base
1.5g Cambrian Blue Clay
15ml isopropyl alcohol 99%

Cold and hot saponified soap clay mix per 454g of soap base
3g of Cambrian Blue Clay
30ml distilled water

As a mask:
Put Cambrian Blue Clay in a non-metallic dish, pour lukewarm water, stir until you get a creamy consistency, apply to your skin and leave on for 5-20 minutes, rinse and pat dry.

The dosage suggested above is for information only more or less can be used according to your recipes we suggest you always carry out final tests with your products.

The clay should be mixed with water before adding to the cold and hot soap.
This extra amount of water in your soap will help mix the clay into the soap paste and will also prevent the clay from cracking your soap.
More or less clay can be added to your bases to achieve the desired color.
